Where the Wild Things Are! Seminole County Artists Present Florida’s Wildlife is the next special exhibit at the Museum of Seminole County History opening June 15 and running through August 14. The exhibit presents the work of fifteen amateur and professional artists and sculptors with ties to Seminole County who present works in acrylics, watercolors, pastels, photography and mixed media. Lifelike and whimsical representations of Florida wildlife are displayed along with the habitats that each animal resides in and a brief history of the interaction between humans and wildlife over the centuries. Admission to the Museum is $3.00 for adults plus tax, $1.00 for children and students over 4, under 4 are free. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 1-5 PM and Saturday from 9-1 PM.
