Forte, acting County Manager.
Seminole County is governed by five
elected Commissioners and
an appointed County
Manager who oversees
the day-to-day operations
of the County, advises the Board, and
implements Commission policies.
Joe
Forte, acting County
Manager, is responsible
for leading an organization of approximately
1,326 employees and a budget for fiscal
year 2009/2010 of one billion dollars.
Mr. Forte is responsible for the professional
management of all programs and activities
under the Board of County Commissioners.
Mr. Forte also serves as a liaison to
a number of councils,
committees, and boards. Mr. Forte
also oversees the Fiscal Services Department.
Joseph
Forte also acts as the
Deputy County Manager, and provides
support to ensure that all ordinances,
resolutions, projects, initiatives,
goals, and objectives of the Board
of County Commissioners are properly
coordinated and executed. Mr.
Forte also serves as liaison between
the Board of County Commissioners and
several working committees. The
Deputy County Manager is also responsible
for overseeing the County’s Central
Services, Community
Services, Environmental
Services, Leisure
Services, Growth Management, Public
Safety, and Public
Works Departments. The
Deputy County Manager acts in the role
of County Manager in his or her absence.
Sabrina O'Bryan, Assistant County Manager, is responsible for managing the county’s strategic planning process, the Board of County Commission agenda process and provides complaint resolution to both internal and external customers. Ms. O’Bryan provides oversight of the legislative program and ensures execution of all directives as issued by the County Manager. Ms. O’Bryan also oversees the Community Information; Document Management and Enterprise Solutions division.
