A donation to Seminole County Leisure Services is a good way to honor or remember someone.

A Memorial Plaque purchased by the county will be placed at the base of each tree or on a bench giving the name of the person in whose honor or memory the tree or bench is given and the name of the donor(s).

• Memorial trees or benches can mark a birthday or anniversary, thank someone, or salute a retiree.
• A memorial tree or bench can make a lasting tribute to a loved one or community leader.

To Make A Donation

For a $200.00 donation you will receive a 30 gallon tree as well as a plaque.

For a $1,000.00 donation you will receive a steel bench as well as a plaque.

Memorial Bench and Tree Procedures

• The type of tree or bench will be selected by the County.
• We will select the exact location for the tree or bench in the park of your choice and will also maintain it.
• A memorial plaque will be purchased by the county.
• Leisure Services personnel will put the plaque in place.  There is no guarantee as to how long the plaque will remain in place due to situations beyond our control.
• Wording on the plaque must be approved by the Leisure Serivces Department.
