GREENWAYS & NATURAL LANDS
Resource Monitoring
Seminole
County's very successful economy and natural
features attracts many new residents to the
area, making it one of the fastest growing
counties in the state of Florida. The continued
growth in both urban and rural areas makes "Natural
Lands" an added commodity. A resource
monitoring plan has been established to assure
that the natural lands of Seminole County
are being managed efficiently and effectively.
If it becomes evident through data collected
that management techniques used to maintain
and/or restore the SCNLP wilderness areas
are inadequate, those management techniques
can then be modified.
